Minnesota Team Breaks Ground on Induction Furnace Project
Our Minnesota team has broken ground on ME Global’s induction furnace project, a major facilities upgrade in Duluth, Minn. The work is being executed while the facility remains fully operational throughout construction.
Through detailed preconstruction planning and a phased construction approach, the team is sequencing work carefully to minimize operational impacts and keep the active facility running safely and efficiently. The 59-week, two-phase project will deliver two new induction furnaces, new transformers and cooling systems, a new prefabricated control room and significant structural and concrete improvements.
When complete, the project will strengthen reliability, safety and production capacity across the plant.Ìý
