Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Earns Cornerstone Award In Michigan
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»’s Michigan Office was honored with the prestigious Cornerstone Award in the General Contractor category by the . This recognition underscores our team’s exceptional dedication, innovation and leadership in the construction industry.
The award also recognizes companies that advance the quality of their employees through training. In our award application, we illustrated how our team creates and support many pathways into construction. In 2024, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Detroit office employed 606 journeymen and 137 apprentices. represented include carpenters, millwrights, iron workers and operating engineers.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» has created truly exceptional programs in education for the development of its workforce through an abundance of training opportunities at every level of employment. Our judges were very impressed with their commitment to creating opportunities in the skilled trades through partnerships with their local unions, non-profit employment and training entities, and youth apprenticeship programs. These partnerships have earned Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» the opportunity to participate in the 3rd Cohort of the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship Ambassador Initiative, where they will partner with the DOL and other ambassadors to promote, innovate and increase access to apprenticeship opportunities. Our judges were also very impressed with Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s robust 2024 Learning & Development Report, which highlighted the company’s learning & development philosophy, 2024 accomplishments, Manager’s Bootcamp, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Leadership Coaching Program, participation in the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development Youth Apprenticeship Program, career progressional model, safety training, compliance training and much more.
